Painting with light
For this project, we painted with light. I set my shutter speed to about 8 seconds for most of the shooting we did. The first 4 photos are of a light being waved in the form of an 8, circles, and a tornado shape. The last photo is of a classmate who would appear in light, and move when it was dark. The image has a ghostly feel to it.

Favorite Thing
I chose to photograph a basketball as my favorite thing because I have been playing basketball since I was 6 and it has always been a passion of mine. The different points of view I photographed from are sideways, from ground level up close and far away, on top of the ball, the front of the ball, and across the top of the ball. I got close to the ball to photograph it to show that I have an intimacy with the ball and sport. Basketball isn't just a product for me, it is a passion. In photoshop i made the photos more interesting and more colorful because they had a grayish tint before I adjusted them.
