This photo is from the aperture project and was taken in the studio. This is a foreground image. I chose this image because the foreground object is in fully in focus and the background and mid ground images are unfocused. The color balance seems to be adjusted nicely. These objects were placed in the gray background and I knelt down to get the straight on view. I adjusted the aperture until the photo was perfectly foreground focus. I wanted to get fairly close to the image to be able to capture the front object as if I was on the same level as it. The mood of this photo is bittersweet because it's colorful and there are toys and it seems fun, but there isn't anyone playing with the toys and the background is gray. It expresses a reality of life. You can look good and fun on the outside, but when you look deeper, not everything is good. The law of thirds is also displayed well here.

The law of thirds is displayed.
This photo displays mid ground well, which was the toughest to display.
The color is balanced well.
I placed the keys myself and I am happy with how it turned out.
I like how it is unbalanced with the amount of keys in each spot.

I placed the leaves myself and am proud that the photo came out well.
The color is balanced well.
The details of the leaf are easily seen.

This photo took more than just myself to create. Another student threw the scarf into the wind while I took the photo. I stayed closer to my own point of view for this photo because I wanted to capture movement and shutter speed. I had a fast shutter speed for this photo so I could freeze the object in motion. The mood of this photo is more of a bittersweet feeling. The scarf is floating in the air expressing freedom, but by freezing the motion, it freezes the freedom. The image is also in black and white which gives it a depressing feeling. It expresses how nice freedom can be unless you abuse it. If you abuse your freedom, it freezes, and may as well be nonexistent. The law of thirds is also displayed well here. This photo was taken for the motion assignment and was taken at SBRHS.
For this photo, I got on ground level to be able to capture the image from a low point of view. I lined up my softball team's bats next to each other. This photo shows line and shape for each bat. There is the line on the bottom that is the bottoms of the bats. There are also the lines on the sides of the bats where one bat ends and another begins. I wasn't planning on the tractor being in the photo, but it seems to be a nice addition. This photo expresses game day and preparation. The tractor is preparing the field for a softball game and the bats are set up ready to be used for hitting. This photo was for the line and shape project and was taken at Ashton Field.

Mid ground is displayed well here.
The color is balanced well.
Detail in the bricks is easily seen.
The crack in the brick is dark, but still has the necessary detail to it.
The close view creates a gradual color change.
This image shows that with every bright situation, there are cracks, flaws, and they are dark. There can be a darkness in every situation and you can see it if you look closely.
